Preparing for your CQC Fit Person Interview?
If you’re approaching your Fit Person Interview, there’s a good chance you’re wondering what to expect, what CQC may ask and whether you’re prepared enough.

You don’t need to wait until your interview is booked to start preparing. There may be only a few days between CQC contacting you and the interview itself, so giving yourself time now can make the preparation feel much more manageable.

This programme was created specifically with Registered Managers in mind, following feedback from managers going through the same process who wanted something practical they could actually work through — not just a list of possible questions.

It is designed to support you through the preparation journey at your own pace, helping you understand what CQC may be trying to establish, recognise where you already feel confident, identify any gaps and practise explaining your judgement, leadership and evidence clearly.

£60 — includes the full interactive programme and email support
directly from me while you complete it.
Inside the 50-page interactive programme, you can work through each section in your own time, return to areas that need more thought and build your preparation around your own role, service and experience.

You’ll also find reflection activities, preparation prompts and realistic interview questions to help you turn your own experience into clear, confident answers.

And you’re not left to work through it alone. If you get stuck on a section or are unsure what something is asking you to think about, you can email me for clarification and preparation support while you complete the programme.

A note from me:

Having done the Registered Manager role myself, and having spent much of my career working alongside Registered Managers and care teams supporting them, I know just how much responsibility sits behind the title.

This programme grew out of the kind of conversations and preparation I would normally work through with a manager one-to-one. I wanted to turn that into something more people could access and use for themselves.

I hope you find it useful — and perhaps recognise along the way just how much knowledge and experience you already have to draw on.
