Build confident leaders.  Strengthen your service.

Every domiciliary care service is different. Whether you need leadership development, practical training, operational quality support or help creating the right conditions for growth, I work with you to understand what is happening and shape the support around your priorities.

Looking at your entire service

People, Quality and Growth do not operate separately.  Each one affects the others - and when one area comes under pressure, the impact is often felt across the entire service.

I use these three connected areas to understand what is working well, where pressure or gaps may exist, and where practical support could make the greatest difference.

What support can look like

The right support depends on what is happening within your service and what you want to strengthen. These are some of the ways I can help.

Service Review Day

A Service Review Day gives you the opportunity to step back from the day-to-day and gain an independent view of your service.

I look across People, Quality and Growth to understand what is working well, where pressure or gaps may exist and what could be strengthened. You leave with an honest assessment and a clear, prioritised action plan—not simply another list of problems to solve.

Registered Manager leadership coaching

Registered Managers are often expected to carry considerable responsibility without having a safe space to think, reflect and develop.

I provide tailored one-to-one support to help new or experienced managers build confidence, strengthen their decision-making, delegate more effectively and lead capable teams. The support is shaped around the manager and the realities of their service rather than following a fixed programme.

Fit Person and CQC readiness support

Preparing for a Fit Person Interview or CQC inspection involves far more than knowing the right terminology.

I help managers and providers understand what is expected, identify areas that may require further attention and strengthen the knowledge, governance and evidence behind the service. This is tailored readiness support—not a standard course or a promise that one session can make somebody ready.

New provider and start-up support

Setting up a new domiciliary care service involves much more than completing a registration application. I support people planning a new service to clarify what they want to deliver, understand what needs to be in place for CQC registration and build the operational foundations needed to launch well.

Support is shaped around your starting point and may include service planning, registration readiness, Registered Manager and Nominated Individual preparation, operational systems, governance, recruitment, induction, launch planning and early service development. Where specialist registration support is required, this can sit alongside the wider operational support I provide.

Operational support and consultancy

Sometimes the pressure does not sit neatly in one place. A service may need help strengthening accountability, improving oversight, developing its leadership team or understanding what is preventing sustainable growth.

I work alongside providers to understand the underlying issue and agree practical support around the needs of the service. That may be a focused piece of work or more sustained support where several areas are connected.

How I work

Everything starts with a conversation about what is happening within your service, where the pressure currently sits and what you want to achieve.

Sometimes a Service Review Day is the right starting point. In other cases, you may already know exactly where support is needed. We agree the scope together so the work is relevant, practical and focused on making a genuine difference within your service.
